CBSS was subcontracted by EnviroWorks to undertake a site-specific Source-Pathway-Receptor (SPR) risk assessment and to determine water- and waste governance options for the proposed expansion of the Ash Disposal Facility (ADF) at the Matimba Power Station.

Water Governance Assessment (NWA s21(c)&(i)) for sand-mine activity by Kareeberg Municipality

CBSS was subcontracted by Guillaume Nel Environmental Consultants to undertake an evaluation of water governance aspects associated with the proposed mining of a sand dune by the Kareeberg Municipality, which inter alia entailed an assessment to determine whether water uses as described under section 21(c) and/or (i) are associated with the proposed development.

Water Governance aspects for a proposed Business Park

CBSS undertook an evaluation of water governance aspects associated with the proposed development of a Business Park adjacent to the N1 Highway in Kraaifontein, which inter alia entailed an assessment and interpretation of historical aerial imagery of the area that dated back to 1938, prior to the construction of the N1 Highway

Water Governance Assessment for Peppadew International in Tzaneen

CBSS was subcontracted via iWater (Pty) Ltd to conduct an assessment of the water governance aspects associated with the Peppadew processing facility in Tzaneen, Limpopo Province, which would facilitate the identification of opportunities with regard to water savings and water re-use, aimed at reducing its water footprint, as well as improving compliance with municipal bylaws relating to wastewater disposal to the municipal sewage works.
